Hello !

The amaryllis blooms in winter.

Like a fire against the frost, a sudden burst of color in a world muted by cold. While most flowers sleep under ice and snow, a quiet rebellion, a testament to resilience and beauty in unexpected places.

There was a legend that I heard of in Greek Mythology, there was a shepherd named Alteo, he managed to captivate the heart of a young maiden called Amaryllis, who fell in love with him. He was unaware of her love and so she pierced her heart with a gold arrow every night for thirty days.

Where she sacrificed her blood, there grew flowers. Alteo found beauty in the flowers and found adoration in Amaryllis and in his love for her he named the gift after her.

His muse Amaryllis.
